UQ Architecture Associate Professor, Dr Chris Landorf recently contributed a 3-hour presentation on strategic heritage management as part of a 2-day workshop organised by the Taiwan Bureau of Cultural Heritage.

The workshop, one of five in a series for Taiwan’s heritage practitioners and students, was held on 12-13 January 2018 at the Gold Museum in the Shui-Jin-Jiu Mining Heritage site in Taiwan’s north-east https://tour.ntpc.gov.tw/en-us/

As part of her 4-day visit to Taiwan, Chris met with Mr Gwo-Long Shy, Director General of the Bureau of Cultural Heritage, and Mr Shui-Tan Huang, Director ofthe Bureau’s General Planning Division, as well as visiting several important industrial heritage sites, including the Xihu Sugar Refinery, the Taichung Cultural and Creative Industries Park and the Taiwan Coal Mine Museum.
