School of Architecture

UQ Architecture and PNG students in Keigold

Architecture is a truly international discipline. Studying architecture overseas as part of your recognised program of study for your UQ degree is an opportunity to understand other places and cultures, and a valuable experience in developing appreciations of different cultures.

International Academic Advisor

The Architecture Academic Advisor is available to UQ Architecture students considering studying overseas, or prospective international students wanting to take an exchange program with the School of Architecture at UQ. Contact the Architecture Reception (Email: architecture@uq.edu.au, Phone: 3365 3537) to make an appointment if you require further information and assistance.

As part of your study at The University of Queensland, students are able to spend one or two semesters studying overseas. Overseas study can be undertaken in both the Bachelor of Architectural Design and the Master of Architecture.

Bachelor of Architectural Design students may go on exchange:

Semester 2 of Year 2 and/or

Semester 1 of Year 3

Master of Architecture students may go on exchange:

Semester 2 of Year 1 and/or

Master of Architecture students intending to apply for study overseas in Year 1 are required to submit an application form for the Master of Architecture in addition to applying for exchange.
