UQ Architecture Students Travel Studio to India
UQ Architecture Students Travel Studio to India

UQ architecture supports global mobility and cultural diversity. Ours is an international community.  Our academics hale from Portugal, India, Italy, Belgium, Turkey, East Africa and Australia, and our student body is even more diverse. We welcome international students from all over the world and pursue opportunities for our students to travel abroad as part of their studies.

Some of the work from recent field trips will feature in an upcoming exhibition as part of the Asia Pacific Architecture Forum. Design proposals for Hong Kong, Pyongyang, Penang and Colombo in Sri Lanka by UQ Architecture students will be on show at the offices of the Queensland chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects from the 18th to the 31st March. Our students travelled to Hong Kong, Penang and Sri Lanka with generous funding through the Federal Government’s New Colombo Mobility Plan. In 2017, students will travel to San Francisco and Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Myanmar.
