Established in 2009 and maintained by a bequest from the late Orme Augusta Marsh, the purpose of this Senate-awarded scholarship is to support a research higher degree candidate in observing architectural methods used overseas.

Travel grant of at least $4,000
 
Applications are ranked according to:
  • the merit of the applicant's proposed travel plan, indicating how the scholarships would be spent to observe overseas architectural methods; and
  • the significance and relevance of the proposed overseas travel to the applicant's research higher degree candidature; and
  • the potential for the proposed travel to enhance the quality of the applicant's research higher degree thesis; and
  • the potential for the proposed travel to expedite the completion of the thesis.
