Join Graduate of Architecture, Georgia Birks, as she takes current students through a presentation on her recent career experiences and what to expect when entering the industry as an architecture graduate.

Georgia Birks is a proud descendant of the Kamilaori and Daniggatti people. She is a Masters Graduate from The University of Queensland, and is currently practicing as an architectural graduate for the local firm Myers Ellyett.

During her studies she received the Santos Indigenous Design Award and was selected to take part of the Momoyo Kaijima Research Scholarship in Japan. Her experience branches across a range of typologies, including, multi-residential, commercial and residential dwellings. Her design thinking places value on understanding the microenvironments of each project, which she believes ultimately shapes a buildings architectural identity.
